Genealogy
I'm working on a history of both my Dad and Mom who emigrated from Germany separately, although my Dad did sponsor my Mom. Both came through Ellis Island, Dad in 1952 and Mom in 1957. While difficult for my Mom to recount, she was willing to comply while visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you, Mom.

Gorgeous color and an inspiring design from Martha Stewart magazine. Pumpkins are magical! I recently attended a wedding where the father of the bride built her a white pumpkin carriage and added his unique sense of humor by using his touring motorcycle as the horsepower to pull it. Very creative and a beautiful gesture by Dad.

Great Article About Art & Climbing in THE ALPINIST Magazine
There is a very nice piece ("Still on the Easel") about creating art and how it affects your climbing ability. I am in complete agreement. Both require immense observation and influence one another. Words and Images by John Svenson.http://www.alpinist.com/doc/ALP36
