Paying Respect to Charlie
For the first time in months, I was able to get away from the store and go camping for a couple of days. We landed at Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. It was a peaceful and beautiful respite and a quiet time to say goodbye to Randy's father. Rest in peace, Charlie.

The Chubasco Report
I am turning in my pieces for the exhibit, SKY: FEET on the GROUND at Dixie State University and Sears Fine Art Gallery today. There are 10 new paintings related to the sky and 2 book arts projects. The exhibit will be up from December 2, 2013 through January 13, 2014. Artist Reception on December 6 from 7-9pm.
Chubasco is a term used by Craig Childs in his book, the Secret Knowledge of Water, to describe, more appropriately, the weather pattern more commonly referred to as the monsoons in the desert Southwest.
