Tea Cup Lamp

I finally finished...the wiring was the most interesting. I did get to use my Dremel tool to carve out a semi-circle in the porcelain. Gluing and worrying about the hole down the middle staying straight was another threshold. Yay! for a project done and clearing the workbench.

Art Display

I'm thinking of implementing this...looks great and easy to swap things out. I just need the cool layers of plaster behind the clips!

Time for Fall

By far, Fall is my favorite time of year. With Zion National Park closed, I spent more time at the store, nervous about prospects and sales. Randy and I were able to sneak away one afternoon and drive up to Cedar Mointain and view Zion from the back. Most of the leaves have dropped and there were snow flurries in the air.

Government shutdown and Leisure Time

Not exactly...with one job eliminated by the shutdown, the other becomes more critical to winter in Zion survival. I made a succulent garden in two vintage collanders today and stayed open as long as possible with my fingers crossed. Thank you to the tourists who visited the shop today.
